Happy Cat
I like to scratch in my litter box
All that grit and sand to dig and toss
I love to scratch and sharpen my claws
It’s a natural habit that I love
It’s just part of being a cat
That’s why I do the happy cat scratch, scratch
I’m a happy cat so I scratch, scratch, scratch
Give me something to sink my claws into
A scratch post tree or the couch will do
Sometimes I’m on safari; wild and ready to attack
I sneak, crouch; then I pounce real fast
But when I’m ready to relax
I lay back and do the happy cat scratch
I’m a happy cat so I scratch, scratch, scratch
Now I can be finicky about my paws
And I do get chipped when I loose a claw
But like your nails, they grow back
And I’m just itchin’ to scratch and scratch
That’s what I do and that’s a fact
I’m a cat so I scratch, scratch, scratch
I’m a happy cat so I scratch, scratch, scratch
Yes I’m a happy cat so I scratch, scratch, scratch
